The Al's Story

The year was 1990 when Al, who had operated several food and beverage establishments,
saw the transitioning of "go-go" bars into gentlemens clubs and cabarets. It was also the
genesis of the burgeoning popularity of "feature entertainers", women in adult magazines
and movies who now made appearances at gentlemens clubs.

At the time BYO was the way to go if you wanted your entertainment "au natural". Al's
opened in December of that year and quickly established itself as a pre-eminent club in the
northeast, due in part that it was one of the first of its genre. Also, in the early years, having
a frequent association with Howard Stern helped cement that fact that Al's was the place to be.

Patrons and fans would travel from far and wide to be on hand for the appearance of the latest
XXX SuperStar. Ginger Lynn, Amber Lynn, Christy Canyon, Barbara Dare, Tori Welles,
Racquel Darrian, Teri Weigel, Savannah, and of course frequent bookings with Jenna Jameson
added to the lure and the lore. Al's has had many occasions when customers would fly in from
various parts of the country to see their favorite star.

Al's made headlines worldwide as the venue where Latoya Jackson DIDN'T strip, but Al's
proudest accomplishment was the naming of the bridge captured from the enemy by our troops
in Iraq the "Al's Diamond Cabaret Memorial Bridge".

Twenty years later, Al's is still totally nude, but now with a contemporary and comfortable
decor and full liquor service. But the one quintessential component of Al's has never
changed; the celebration of Al's beautiful women, our house entertainers and feature
performers alike.

Al's has been recognized by the industry with numerous nominations and has twice won Top
Club Northeast, Best Feature Club U.S., and is the first independently owned club to be
inducted into the Gentlemens Club Hall of Fame.
